Grandview Garden is a large-scale housing development in Karaka, Auckland. The goal was to create a compelling brand and customer experience journey for a planned community of approximately 260 homes, completed in 2023. The work covered branding, campaign design, website development, and multi-channel marketing materials, ensuring a unified, intuitive, and engaging experience across every touchpoint.

01 The Challenge
Launching a housing development of this scale required more than construction and planning—it required building trust, sparking interest, and guiding customers from awareness to purchase. The brand experience needed to communicate lifestyle, accessibility, and growth opportunity, while simplifying the home selection process for a broad target audience.
Key considerations:
- Clarity of information architecture
- Mobile-first experience
- Emotional and visual consistency across online and offline platforms
02 Brand Identity Development
A unique brand identity was developed to reflect Karaka’s natural surroundings and prospective residents’ aspirations. The visual language embraced simplicity and warmth, aligning with the community-first vision of the development.
Deliverables included:
- Primary and secondary logos
- Colour palette and font system
- Visual brand guidelines for use across media
03 Website Experience Design
The website was built as the digital anchor of the project, enabling potential buyers to explore homes, view layouts, check lot availability, and make enquiries—all through a streamlined and intuitive interface.
Key UX features:
- Responsive design across devices
- Homepage with value propositions and lifestyle imagery
- Interactive site map
- House type filters and download options for brochures/floorplans
- Lead generation forms with tracking integrations
04 Marketing Material & Outreach Strategy
A coordinated multi-channel marketing campaign was implemented to ensure visibility and consistency across all buyer touchpoints, both digital and physical.
Radio Advertising
Targeted radio ads were developed and aired on local stations aligned with key demographics. The messaging emphasised location, lifestyle, and urgency to generate interest and website traffic.
Printed Booklet
A high-quality printed booklet was distributed during open homes and sales events. It introduced the development, housing options, community plans, and contact details, designed for emotional resonance and clear information delivery.
Billboards
Large-format billboards were installed in strategic high-traffic areas near Karaka and motorway routes. Design focused on attention-grabbing visuals and clear calls to action.
